System Design and Delivery of Care: I would like to suggest an update or review to the HRO publication from 2008 regarding implementation of systems to be an HRO in light of current practice standards and a push for outpatient care as well as inpatient. 2. Why are you struggling with this issue?

The previous publication was helpful but it is from 2008 so is outdated and it also did not include outpatient care. It was very tailored for hospitals. With many healthcare systems now focusing on the continuity of care, we need to understand how this may be applied from a continuous level of outpatient, community-based care, specialty care, and hospitals.

3. What do you want to see changed? How will you know that your issue is improving or has been addressed?

I want to see this changed to include outpatient care, newer EHR systems and informatics information, and our current healthcare landscape.

I will use it for practice and dissemination throughout other systems-based care. I will also use it for teaching.
