Interventions To Prevent Osteoporotic Fracture
Interventions to prevent osteoporotic fracture include pharmacologic agents, dietary and supplemental vitamin D and calcium, and weight-bearing exercise. These interventions are also used (although with less frequency) in patients with osteopenia, a less severe degree of low bone density.
