Comparative Effectiveness of Therapies for Children With Autism Spectrum Disorders
Key inclusion criteria: studies of children ages 2–12 years with ASDs or ages 0–2 years at risk for diagnosis of an ASD; any study design except case study reports.
Studies were excluded if they: included < 10 total participants for studies of behavioral, educational, allied health, or CAM interventions; included < 30 total participants for medical studies; did not report information pertinent to the Key Questions; were published prior to the year 2000; were not original research; did not present aggregated results (i.e., included data for individual participants only) or presented graphical data only.
